About me
Sara Hills has been a Cinematic Arts Educator and Consultant for nearly a decade. In her current position at Claremont High School, Ms. Hills has modernized the Cinematic Arts and Broadcast Journalism programs by integrating industry standard tools and best practices into the classroom while becoming an Avid Learning Partner, adding a Career Technical Education Pathway, and updating all classes to satisfy the University of California “f” requirement. Moreover, Sara has redesigned the curriculum to reflect a “real world” environment based on her experience within the film and television industry. Ms. Hills holds a Master of Fine Arts from the American Film Institute in Producing, a Masters of Arts from Claremont Graduate University in Education, and a Bachelor’s of Art in Film Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Sara also continues to write and develop her own creative projects.
